Materials & Finishes
Miami cabinetry lives in a wet, salty, temperature-controlled climate. The materials we use are chosen for that environment — not just for the showroom photograph.
Box construction
¾-inch cabinet-grade plywood with concealed edge banding. Adjustable shelves in ¾-inch plywood. No particleboard boxes on any Oh My Cabinets project.
Door materials
Painted: poplar or maple stile-and-rail with MDF center panels, finished in conversion varnish over solid substrate. Veneered: rift-cut white oak, quartered walnut, ash, or teak on plywood core. High-gloss lacquer and PET foil available for modern flat-panel designs.
Hardware
Blum or Salice soft-close hinges with three-way adjustment. Full-extension undermount drawer slides, soft-close, rated to 100 lb minimum. Marine-grade stainless or solid brass pulls in coastal properties.
Countertops
We coordinate with local fabricators for quartz, quartzite, marble, and porcelain slab tops. Templating happens after cabinets are set and leveled, never before.
We'll set up a free in-home measure across Miami-Dade and Broward.
